Why doesn't God doesn't reveal Himself more indisputably?
This short video, an "interview" with 3 "atheists" is a great answer to that question. If God revealed Himself more obviously, we would all act like the third atheist in this video -- which is not the kind of worship God seeks.

Amazing clock
Take a moment to check out this amazing clock:

Then think how much more incredible God’s clock must be (even has one showing the number of hairs on each head!)

Free Audio Bible!
I just learned about a site where you can download professional mp3 recordings of the Bible in an incredible number of languages. It’s free to download them or you can purchase CDs.
Here’s the web site. http://www.faithcomesbyhearing.com
From their web site: “Currently, Faith Comes By Hearing offers 321 Audio Scripture recordings in 272 languages.”

Free PDF creator
Most of you already know about Acrobat Reader, the free and handy tool to view .PDF files. PDF files are very handy because they are small and accurately preserve the original fonts and formatting that the document was designed with.
If you’ve ever experienced the frustration of emailing someone a file (such as a Word file) only to experience the frustration of hearing “I don’t have the program to open that” you will be greatly relieved to hear that you can now convert your files into PDF files using the free PDF creation tool, Primo PDF.
After installing it, you simply bring up the file you want to convert, and tell it to print – but instead of printing to your normal printer, you choose Primo PDF as the “printer”. Primo then asks what file name you want your new PDF to have, and bingo, your file is output in PDF format.
I’ve used it. It works great. There are no “catches” to their offer. It’s really free.

Free Bible tools
We who speak English are really blessed to have the Bible available so easily to us. Think what a price some have paid in centuries past (even with their lives) to make the Bible readily available. And yet we neglect it L.
Here are some links to a few free online Bible tools you may not know about:
Tools that must be downloaded and installed in your computer
E-Sword. http://www.e-sword.net/ A very nice full featured Bible study program. Offers a large variety of Christian Bible study helps that can be added to the core program.
The Sword Project. http://www.crosswire.org/sword/index.jsp. Similar to E-Sword but “open source” which means eventually its features may exceed E-Sword’s.
Online Bible. http://www.onlinebible.net/ At one time the king of free Bible programs, Online Bible hasn’t kept up with the newcomers, but it’s still a nice and useful Bible program which has a few references that the others don’t.
Tools that can be used immediately via the Internet
Bible Gateway. http://www.biblegateway.com/ A great online Bible reference tool. Not as full featured as the above programs but faster when you just need a quick answer.
Blue Letter Bible. http://blueletterbible.org/ -- a very full featured online Bible reference tool. More cumbersome but more powerful than Bible Gateway.
The Unbound Bible. http://unbound.biola.edu/ -- has some languages that Bible Gateway doesn’t. A bit harder to use than Bible Gateway.
Christian Classics Ethereal Library. http://www.ccel.org/ Contains the World Wide Study Bible as well as many other classic Christian books. By far the most comprehensive of any of the tools – overwhelmingly so!
Do any of you have any favorites of your own you’d like to share?

Gospel Comics
Recently I have been discovering the usefulness of Christian comics. For those whose English is not good, or for those whose reading skills are not good, the pictures of comics can convey a thousand words.
I just learned about http://www.gospelcomic.com/ -- it contains the life of Jesus in comic format, in a number of different languages. You can download the comic book or view the comic book online for free. You can also buy printed copies at reasonable prices.
A much better comic book – which gives the whole story of the Bible in chronological format – has been produced by No Greater Joy. It is more expensive (and is not available for free download) but is more comprehensive, sticks closer to the Biblical text, and has better artwork. We’ve bought 1 case and have had fun distributing them – everyone likes them!

A homeschool family...
As a homeschooled student myself (albeit in a much smaller family), this short, cute video brings back many fond memories.
Take a moment to enjoy this lighthearted video: http://www.timhawkins.net/video/homeschool.swf
May the Lord continue to bless and guide the homeschool movement of today and raise up a generation mighty for God.
